For us, developing a tanning mousse is not simply about using a higher DHA level. We also evaluate:
Desired tan depth
Color development time
Guide color
Odor
Streaking risk
Formula stability
Drying speed and skin feel
Packaging compatibility
The right formula depends on how these factors work together. During sample development, we adjust the tanning system around the brand’s target market, desired color result and overall product experience rather than focusing on DHA percentage alone.

We begin by understanding your target market, desired tanning effect and brand direction, then define the tanning intensity, skin feel, fragrance, mousse texture, packaging and product positioning.
Based on your requirements, we develop the formula around DHA level, color development, application experience, absorption, hydration, fragrance and a smooth, even tanning finish
We create prototype samples for you to evaluate mousse texture, spreadability, drying time, color development, skin feel, fragrance and overall tanning performance before final approval.
Typical Sampling: 7–10 DaysWe match the self-tanning mousse formula with suitable packaging solutions, including foam pumps, bottles or other dispensing systems, while checking filling performance, stability and product compatibility
After confirming the tanning result, formula performance, fragrance, packaging, artwork and product specifications, the project is prepared for bulk manufacturing.
We manufacture, fill, pack and inspect your finished self-tanning mousse products, ensuring formula consistency, packaging quality and production standards before shipment.
Bulk Production: Approx. 30–45 Days
